Mary and Rick's goal: “When we first came to OCSC, our goal was to learn enough to feel comfortable skippering our own boat out on San Francisco Bay. We went through Basic Keelboat and Basic Cruising. Once we had Bareboat Cruising down, we could charter different types of boats available at OCSC. Their fleet helped us to educate ourselves about different models and manufacturers so we could make a really sound decision when it came time to buy. Now we own the boat we dreamed about. Sometimes we hire an OCSC instructor to come to our marina for private lessons on our boat. With OCSC’s tailored help, we got comfortable getting in and out of our slip and with all of the electronics and systems of my boat."
